Stress is the feeling which you get when facing with challenges through daily activities. It can be good for you in small doses to make you more alert and gives you a blast of energy.

The relationship between stress and your health in fact really connected to each other. Besides affecting your heart, it also gives impacts to your immune system, which explains why some cases involves stressful people leads to injuries. Nowadays stress also being connected with cancer so you must consider facing stress wisely to avoid any of these negative consequences.

Stress also associated with psychological problems and depression. The relationship is clear where stress normally contributes to negative thoughts and feelings. Our mind are always full of thoughts: what to do, ideas, dreams, and etc. Our minds could be associated with a series of emotional stress which activate brain regions and contributes depression.

Some common factors of stress are:

  • Death
  • Divorce
  • Losing job
  • Illness/Injury
  • Pregnancy
  • Retirement

Here are some ideas of coping with stress:

  • Practice healthy way of life.
  • Realize and accept your condition.
  • Find positive points in negative situations.
  • Improve your time management.

Although it seems difficult to find a way to get rid of stress, the most important step is to find a way to solve it and improve the situation. Remember that your health depends on it.

  • Yes, stress is part of living itself, even children can have it, best is to find away to deal with it. I have a cocker spaniel who is spoiled rotten and he knows just when I need him to come cheer me up with is stub of a tail, it helps me a lot with my stress..

  • One othere way to lessen stress would actually be to find a better job. With a better job your stress level falls and you feel more relaxed.

  • The most stressful thing for me is the busy schedule of our family. I have 3 kids, all very involved with school and sports. Figuring out how to get everyone where they need to be can drive me insane. I have found though if I just sit down and make a plan, I can handle it much easier. (As opposed to just worrying about it.) That is true for everything in my life. If I just find a solution to the problem, I can handle the steps it takes to get to the solution.

  • Stress will never be going to reduce in today’s life which brings depression and many diseases with it.Stress can’t be removed permanently from our life but can be reduced to some level to stay relaxed.Yoga and meditation are effective for it.

  • I would like to add here that many people start smoking and say that cigarettes are a remedy to the tension.. That is just stupidity.. Do not smoke cigarettes and also do not take tensions as both will ultimately effect your health!

  • Yeah there is no way to live an entirely stress free life so it’s not about finding a cure but instead finding a way to cope with the stress. The best way to lower stress is to remove yourself form the situations that cause it. If that is not possible, in most cases it won’t be, you have to stay focused and keep the bigger picture in perspective. Keep reminding yourself about your goals, where you want to be and take it one step at a time.
